in the actual anime this opening is from, it does. the person running to the left was the one destined to live, while the two running forward were the ones destined to die. in this case, it would've been more fitting to put hajime as the one running left, and chiaki and nagito as the ones running forward, as hajime lives while nagito dies & chiaki ceases to exist..
